Nationwide is the leading pet insurance provider in the US. Products are available in all 50 states and accepted by all vets. Coverage is available for dogs, cats, and exotic animals, and can be added or dropped at any time throughout the year. The My Pet Protection Plan reimburses 90% of your vet bill for accidents, illness, and hereditary conditions. Wellness coverage is also available and reimburses for exams, vaccinations, dental cleanings, and more.

Why do you offer pet insurance to your employees?
Many of our employees are “pet parents,” and it’s known that having a pet as part of the family promotes positive mental and physical well-being. Getting medical care for a pet when the unexpected happens, such as serious illness or accident, can create a financial burden for some, not to mention the emotional hardship it brings. We believe offering employees a low-cost pet insurance plan provides them peace of mind that their pets will be able to get the care they need, and it represents our ongoing commitment to our employees’ overall health and wellness.
Can you tell us a little bit about your pet insurance coverage?
CECO partners with a major insurance carrier that offers employees a customized pet insurance plan that is not available to the general public. For a low monthly premium, employees can access any vet anywhere without pre-approvals. Coverage includes accidents, injuries, common illnesses, serious/chronic illnesses (including cancer and diabetes), hereditary and congenital conditions, surgeries/hospitalization, X-rays, MRIs and CT scans, and even prescription medications and therapeutic diets. Employees are reimbursed for 70 percent of their vet bills, with a low annual deductible. Plus, the monthly premium doesn’t change. It stays the same price no matter the age of the pet. Extras include fast, electronic claim payments, a 24/7 vet helpline, and discounts on pet products and services. Employees have the option to sign up for pet insurance at any time during the year, not just during the open enrollment period for all CECO benefits.

Can you tell us a little bit about your pet insurance coverage?
Team members can save up to 10% with our pet insurance coverage. Coverage includes accidents, illnesses, hereditary and congenital conditions, dental disease, and behavioral issues. Team members have the flexibility and option to visit any vet, specialist, or emergency clinic they like. Team members receive reimbursement via direct deposit or by mail from ASPCA.
