Starting my career at Qualtrics was awesome because I got to come in with a cohort of recent graduates from across the country. Moving to a new state was intimidating, but it was a lot easier being surrounded by a bunch of other 21-year-old transplants. We worked in Quni (short for Qualtrics University) as support personnel, helping clients use the software and fixing issues. You get really really good at the Qualtrics software product throughout the (roughly) year-long program. Then, you do internal interviews and graduate to different teams across the company. Former Quni routinely perform very well in their second roles, and having such in-depth product knowledge is incredibly useful here!
What kind of development/growth opportunities do you offer for people starting a career?
Qualtrics is very supportive of cross-departmental side projects and also has an internal mobility program that I participated in called “QMobility”. After I graduated Quni, I joined the RFP team. As one of my side projects, I helped run our Sales Kick Off meeting twice. This experience helped me get my current role at the company as an Executive Communications Manager. So, in total, I’ve actually had 3 jobs here! Having that wide variety of experiences across the company has helped me develop a pretty unique skill set as well as company-wide relationships that I leverage every day.

Curriculum Associates offers a six-month EdTech Fellowship program that begins annually in July, with applications opening in February. During the first three months, participants work on one of our onboarding teams, learning about the business from colleagues, industry leaders, customers, and even the CEO. For the remaining half of the program, they join a team of their choice, including opportunities on teams like People Operations, Marketing, or Finance, to work on impactful projects that help the department reach its goals. Participants in the EdTech Fellowship meet regularly with a professional mentor and have access to weekly “lunch and learn” workshops to help develop skills and competencies during the program.
This program is an excellent opportunity to build knowledge and skills, and to develop a professional network. For graduates, it’s also a chance to secure a full-time role if a slot on their preferred team is available.
The Software Engineering Co-Op program is offered over the Fall and Spring Semesters, with applications opening every September and February. This program is designed for co-op students seeking to gain real-world working experience and exposure to different aspects of software development as they grow their engineering careers. Participants are matched with targeted projects to help them gain skills and experience aligned with their interests. Co-Op participants can work on projects involved in developing features that directly benefit users, testing to ensure code quality, and taking ownership of designing and implementing engineering solutions to enhance the products.
The Business Development Trainee program supports the Sales team in maintaining and expanding the company’s customer base. Trainees begin their assignment working with the Inside Sales team to develop product knowledge and support sales functions through lead development, market surveys, customer consultations, and sample product offerings.
Throughout the program, trainees have the chance to learn the fundamentals of sales, data, or marketing and gain hands-on experience in their chosen track.
The program provides extensive training, mentorship, and real-world application for careers in business development and sales enablement. Opportunities are available in CA’s Tucson, Arizona, and Greensboro, North Carolina offices.
The Summer Internship Program is ideal for undergraduate and graduate students and is an excellent way to grow your career in between academic years. Applications open each February, and the 10 to 12-week paid program begins annually in June. Students are placed in one of several departments, including marketing, strategy, editorial, product management, and educator success based on personal goals, experience, and company needs.
The Summer Internship offers students an opportunity to network, engage in meaningful projects, and develop new skills, all while making a real impact on teachers and students across the country.
