As the workplace continues to evolve, forward-thinking organizations are reimagining their approach to employee support in remote and hybrid environments. From revamped employer branding to innovative benefits packages, companies are finding creative ways to maintain connection, productivity, and well-being across distributed teams.
How has your company adapted its employer brand messaging to reflect changes in work arrangements (e.g., remote or hybrid options)?
At Wellhub, flexibility isn’t just a perk—it’s part of who we are and how we work. We know that people do their best work when they have the freedom to shape their work experience, which is why we offer employees two working models: hybrid or fully remote.
We make it easy for candidates to see how flexibility is embedded in our culture. From our careers page and job descriptions to social media, employer review sites, and candidate materials, we clearly outline our approach. Every job listing specifies whether the role is remote or hybrid, and we provide insights into how we collaborate, stay connected, and support our people.
But don’t just take our word for it—our “Life at Wellhub” Instagram and other platforms showcase real stories and testimonials from Wellhubbers, offering a firsthand look at how our flexible culture empowers autonomy, balance, and meaningful connections.
What unique benefits or support do you offer to remote or flexible workers?
We equip our people with the resources they need to thrive, no matter where they work. First, we offer all Wellhubbers a home office stipend and monthly work allowance to ensure remote employees have the tools and setup to stay productive.
Secondly, we trust Wellhubbers to shape their schedules in a way that balances productivity with personal wellbeing. Working hours are set in collaboration with leaders to align with time zones, team needs, and individual routines, ensuring that work-life balance is not just an idea, but a lived reality for us.
With an internationally dispersed team, we create intentional moments for connection. Monthly global Town Halls, virtual social meetups, and interactive team events help us bridge the distance and strengthen relationships. For hybrid employees, our offices are designed to encourage collaboration and creativity so that time in the office is worthwhile—whether it’s brainstorming ideas, a deep work session, celebrating milestones, or simply sharing a lunch break.
Above all, our goal-setting culture ensures that flexibility isn’t just about where or when we work—it’s about delivering results and making a meaningful impact. With the autonomy to work in ways that best suit them, Wellhubbers can innovate, take smart risks, and drive forward the future of workplace wellness.

How has your company adapted its employer brand messaging to reflect changes in work arrangements (e.g., remote or hybrid options)?
We’ve adapted our employer brand messaging to highlight our commitment to flexibility, collaboration, We recognize work is not a place you go to. It is a thing you do. Our focus lies in giving team members the opportunity to be brilliant, wherever they are. Remote working is no longer a new concept to us, having adopted a Remote-First operating model and culture back in 2020. With multiple years of remote work behind us, we now possess valuable internal data and extensive external studies to know that having a Remote-First structure is very attractive to candidates.
Remote-workers are also able to take advantage of non-linear workdays: a flexible work schedule that allows employees to complete their work tasks during non-traditional hours, rather than adhering to a standard 9-to-5 workday. This approach acknowledges that productivity and personal peak performance times vary among individuals.
We heard from our team members that having the freedom, autonomy and trust in each other to work from home, as well as the ability to operate when they are most productive, empowers them to be their best. Our employer brand messaging highlights these flexible work policies and attracts top talent in return!
What unique benefits or support do you offer to remote or flexible workers?
We provide specific support tailored to our remote working model in our Remote-First Handbook. This resource includes remote work toolkits for virtual meetings, productivity, asynchronous collaboration, documentation best practices, and how to own your success when working remotely.
Non-linear workdays are a unique benefit of remote working. By embracing a non-linear workday, team members can manage their work responsibilities around their most productive periods, personal commitments, and life events, leading to improved work/life harmony, increased job satisfaction, and potentially higher productivity.
We know the importance of making time for social connections in remote settings! That’s why we have many opportunities to do so, such as through “The Network Club”, numerous Special Interest Groups (SIGs), our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), and location-based slack channels. These allow team members to virtually connect with each other and sometimes meet up in person. Remote-first is not remote-only. Vista provides collaboration spaces for team members to have the choice and autonomy of when they want to work from home or to facilitate in-person collaboration in order to deliver amazing results together.

How has your company adapted its employer brand messaging to reflect changes in work arrangements (e.g., remote or hybrid options)?
At SWCA, we’ve adapted our messaging to reflect the evolving landscape of work by emphasizing flexibility and our commitment to delivering exceptional client outcomes — no matter where the work happens. In a world where client needs and expectations are constantly shifting, our messaging highlights a simple but powerful principle: it’s not about where employees work — it’s about the quality of their work and its impact on results.
Our employer brand reflects this commitment by showcasing our #OneSWCA culture, which fosters collaboration and connection across teams, whether employees work remotely, in the office, or a mix of both. We’ve intentionally crafted messaging that highlights our belief in empowering employees with location flexibility — when it doesn’t compromise client satisfaction or results — as a strategic advantage. This approach has been core to our identity, as SWCA was ahead of the curve in enabling workplace flexibility long before the pandemic.
We’ve also incorporated our core values into our messaging to resonate with today’s workforce. Values like #AlwaysLearning and #NeverSettle inspire employees seeking growth and innovation in a flexible work setting, while #SWCAGivesBack showcases how employees can support causes they care about, no matter their work environment. By prioritizing belonging, autonomy, and trust, our messaging reflects our belief that flexibility fosters engagement, innovation, and higher-quality work — all of which enhance client satisfaction.
Through clear and intentional communication, we’ve tailored our messaging to align with the diverse needs of our employees and the realities of modern work. By focusing on flexibility as a strategic imperative, we’ve built a workplace where employees thrive, our employer brand is strengthened, and client outcomes remain at the center of everything we do.
What unique benefits or support do you offer to remote or flexible workers?
At SWCA, we recognize that flexibility is key to fostering a productive and engaged workforce. That’s why we provide unique benefits and support tailored to remote and flexible workers, ensuring they have the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to thrive.
Technology and Collaboration Tools
We invest in robust technology and collaboration platforms to keep our teams connected, no matter where they work. From virtual meeting tools to cloud-based project management systems, we ensure that remote employees have seamless access to the resources they need to deliver exceptional results. We encourage managers to leverage soft skills when choosing the right mode of communication — whether it’s a quick message, an email, or a virtual meeting — to foster engagement and connection rather than disengagement. Thoughtful communication, including regular 1:1s, can make all the difference in building rapport and maintaining team cohesion.
Professional Development Opportunities
Through our #AlwaysLearning core value, we offer remote-friendly training, webinars, career advancement, which we call our career landscape, and mentorship programs designed to help employees grow and advance their careers. Our flexible work environment doesn’t limit access to learning opportunities.
Support for Work-Life Balance
We understand that remote and flexible workers often juggle personal and professional responsibilities. To support this balance, we foster a culture of accountability, encouraging employees to take ownership of their work and manage their time in a way that supports them best. We offer flexible schedules, wellness programs, and mental health resources that allow employees to tailor their workday to their unique needs.
Cultivating Connection Anywhere
Our #OneSWCA culture ensures that remote employees feel connected to their teams and the broader company. We host virtual events, team-building activities, and regular check-ins to maintain a sense of community, no matter where employees are located.
Commitment to Equity
We’ve designed our policies and practices to ensure that remote and flexible workers have fair and equal access to opportunities, recognition, and career advancement. We focus on outcomes and impact, not physical presence, to ensure all employees are valued and supported.
At SWCA, we don’t see flexibility as just a perk—it’s a strategic advantage that allows us to attract and retain top talent while fostering a culture of trust, respect, and collaboration. By supporting remote and flexible workers with these unique benefits, we empower them to do their best work while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. As we move forward, SWCA remains committed to supporting flexible work environments that meet the needs of our staff and our business.
