Yes, the allure of Facebook and Google and all of those Twitter notifications is real. But the majority of people see their colleagues as a bigger work distraction.
Thirty-nine percent of respondents in a recent survey by Comparably say that their coworkers and bosses are their biggest distraction at work. The next biggest distractions were: social media/Internet (25%), family (15%), personal finances (14%) and health (7%).
More than 5,000 employees across the technology industry participated in the survey.
