From Adobe and Amazon to Netflix and Twitter, tech companies are paving the way for generous parental leave policies. And right now, about 67% of men and 62% of women in the tech industry claim to have paid maternity and paternity leave, according to the latest reading of an ongoing query by Comparably.

Those numbers are significant: after all, there are no federal laws mandated maternity or paternity leave, and laws differ vastly from state to state.
Awareness of maternity leave laws appears to increase among people in their mid to late-20s. Workers younger than that have the lowest rates of reporting that their companies offer maternity and paternity policies.

The latest reading is as of Jan. 17 and includes the responses of more than 5,000 workers across the technology industry.
