How's the leadership on the Engineering team at Digital First Media?
Every engineer has a voice and is part of discussions at any level. Some engineers have more expertise and experience in certain areas so we rely on them for their specific knowledge, etc, but everyone is pretty equally involved in shaping the direction of our codebase and technical decisions.
What's the vibe like in the Engineering dept at Digital First Media? How many hours are you working?
Love working here. The engineering team is great. We work on interesting things and collaborate a lot to solve problems. We're pretty autonomous and micro-management is non-existent. I'm able to get my work done and put in an average of about 38hr per week, which is nice compared to other Salary positions I've had where I was working 50+ hours per week. The work/life balance is nice!
