I am not really sure exactly as that seems to be an ongoing issue. It is all about who you know and whether or not you pass the profiling quiz that HR administers which mirrors you against the hiring manager. So even if you have the skill your might not be awarded the role if the quiz thinks you are not a good fit. AI and HR collaboration at its finest!
