It really depends on the office or department. I've worked in several, and some are extremely flexible when it comes to schedules. Some are far stricter than they need to be for no apparent reason. There's no catch all answer to this question. So, if you're looking to get a job at Harvard that offers a flexible work schedule, it's a good idea to ask about it during the interview process.

I meet with department heads and team leads. It took a few months before I got final word I was hired.
