Executive Bio
Robert Zimmerman serves as Senior Vice President of Refinery Supply of CHS Inc. and served as its Vice President, Energy Raw Material Marketing & Supply Operations since December 14, 2006. Mr. Zimmerman was responsible for securing feedstock for the CHS Inc.'s refinery operations which include its 55,000-barrels per day operation at Laurel, Mont. His responsibilities also include the CHS Inc.'s newly opened Calgary office. He joined CHS in 1997 as Manager, crude oil trading. He was more than 15 years in crude oil exploration and marketing with a variety of Rocky Mountain-region firms. He holds a bachelor's degree in earth science with a specialization in geology from Emporia (Kan.) State University. He completed CHS University management program in 2005.
