How can I improve my chances of being hired at Five Q?
Culture fit is super important here. Humor is important. We don’t gossip or talk down to others or about others. We are honest with each other. We are faith based but have hired people that didn’t profess a faith in Jesus.
How secure do you feel at your job at Five Q?
Fairly secure. Compared to other jobs I’ve had this one is definitely the most secure. I don’t have people constantly queationing my abilities. The work I do proves my capabilities.
What's the best part of your job at Five Q?
The people here are genuine. It’s a faith based company and so if a need arises to pray of even support our team financially through a difficult season we do. We won’t hesitate to pray for our people.
How's the work pace at Five Q?
Pretty fast pace. We are an agency and so making sure that we are hitting our goals for clients (time and budget) is important.
What are the team outings like at Five Q?
We are all distributed so there aren’t many team outings. The company gets together once or twice a year
How common is it to switch departments or teams at Five Q?
Not sure how common. But there have been designers that switched to developer roles, developers moving to design roles, and even developers moving to account executive roles. Five Q is all about making sure people are on the right seat on the bus. If that seat is in a different department then it’s totally doable.
