Briefly describe your overall experience at your company
What do you like best about the leadership team?
I admire their tenacity, perseverance and equality pushing the boundaries of healthcare for all clients and renewing their outlook on staff retention. I enjoy hearing about the reform starting from the Board and revealing the results from the positive discipline in clients lives!

What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Knowing and caring for employees to decrease continual burnout and turnover.
What is the best part about your compensation package?
401k and my health benefits as well as sick and paid vacation.
It's a nice package; we pay none of our premiums.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Rare raises, someone requested 25 cents more for her experience and was denied, benefits declining more each year, least competitive wages in a very small town.
What are some of the best things about your team?
Wonderful caring people who provide all billable clinical services to Akeela and certainly aren’t treated as the valuable backbone they are.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Most positive is our treatment team , really looking at the clients as a whole , their safety concerns and needs come first.

The kids and the teachers!

What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Be competitive with other agencies and support your employees to hang onto the most valuable ones; provide good healthcare insurance that people on your wages can actually afford and provide reasonable wages or scale back on reinvestment and wages of those not providing billable services.
