Mr. Mark A. Petrarca has been Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Public Affairs of A.O. Smith Corp. since 2006. Mr. Petrarca served as Vice President of Human Resources & Public Affairs at AO Smith Corp. from January 1, 2005 to 2006. He served as Vice President of Human Resources of A. O. Water Products Company of A. O. Smith since June 1999 until 2004. In that position, he was responsible for all human resources activities for the operating unit. He also was involved in the 2000 acquisition of State Industries and played a major role in integrating that business into the Water Products Company. He served as Director of Human Resources at Strike Weapon Systems, a Division of Raytheon Systems Company, in Lewisville, Texas. He began his career in 1985 at Texas Instruments in its Defense Systems and Electronics Group in Dallas, Texas, holding positions in manufacturing and human resources. He was an Official Spokesman of Ao Smith Corp. He has been an Independent Director of TopBuild Corp. since July 1, 2015. Mr. Petrarca holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Bradley University, Peoria, Ill and a Master Degree in Management and Administrative Sciences from the University of Texas-Dallas (Richardson).
