Mr. Peter R. Martineau has been Chief Information Officer and Senior Vice President of AO Smith Corp. since April 01, 2016. Mr. Martineau leads the newly created Business & Technology Solutions (BTS) group and is responsible for all global information systems. Mr. Martineau served as the Vice President-Business Transformation. He joined A. O. Smith as part of the GSW acquisition in April 2006 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in the areas of finance and customer service. Prior to the acquisition, he was with the American Water Heater/GSW businesses since 1995. He served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of American Water Heaters. Before joining GSW, he served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for Canadian Bearings, Ltd., and Controller of Urban Transportation Development Corporation. Mr. Martineau earned his bachelor's degree in accountancy and business administration from Concordia University, Montreal, Quebec and a master's degree in public accountancy from McGill University, Montreal. He also holds a CPA designation.
