Mr. Steven H. Rouhandeh, also known as Steve, J.D., is the Founder of SCO Capital Partners, LLC and has been its Chairman and Chief Investment Officer since 1997. Mr. Rouhandeh is the Founder of SCO Financial Group, LLC and serves as its Chairman. He has been an Executive Chairman at Abeona Therapeutics Inc. formerly known as PlasmaTech Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 1, 2015 and served as its Principal Executive Officer since January 1, 2015. He has institutional knowledge and has extensive domestic and international financial experience in the healthcare industry. Mr. Rouhandeh was an Investment Manager and a Managing Partner of SCO Capital Management LLC. Mr. Rouhandeh has a diverse background in financial services that includes experience in asset management, corporate finance, investment banking and law. He was employed in various capacities in investment management, investment banking and corporate law, including Deutsche Bank and Cravath Swaine & Moore, LLP. He has been active throughout recent years as an executive in venture capital and as a founder of several companies in the biotech field. He served as Corporate Attorney of New York City-based Cravath, Swaine & Moore. Mr. Rouhandeh served as the Managing Director of a private equity group at Metzler Bank and Vice President of Investment Banking of Deutsche Morgan Grenfell and Deutsche Bank. Mr. Rouhandeh received J.D., from Harvard Law School, Harvard University in 1981 and earned B.A. in Government, Political Science, Economics, from Southern Illinois University in 1978.
