Mr. Kevin Comolli serves as Managing General Partner and Partner at Accel Partners. Mr. Comolli focuses on enterprise and infrastructure software categories and new media spaces like mobile and web gaming. Mr. Comolli joined Accel in 2000. Previously, he was a Partner for four years at Doughty Hanson & Co, where he was responsible for the origination, execution, monitoring and realization of Pan-European transactions. Additionally, he was the Founder at Doughty Hanson's technology fund initiative. He serves as a Director of Alfresco Advertising Ltd., Activiti Ltd., Playfish Limited, Simplivity Corporation, Etsy, Lot18, Getjar Networks Inc, Icera, Alfresco Software, Inc., Semmle Inc., Supercell Oy and Knewton. He served as Executive Officer of FANUC America Corporation. Before joining Doughty Hanson & Co., Mr. Comolli served as an Executive Director for two years at Goldman Sachs International, where he was responsible for the solicitation and execution of a full range of investment banking services, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investing and equity and debt financing. Mr. Comolli worked Executive Officer at Fanuc Robotics America, Inc. Over his 14-year tenure at the firm, Mr. Comolli held various Board, general management, sales, marketing and engineering positions in EMEA and the United States. He has been an Independent Director of Varonis Systems, Inc. since December 2004, Weaveworks Ltd. since December 2, 2014 and Hybrid Logic Ltd. since February 5, 2015. Mr. Comolli has been a Director of E8 Storage since May 10, 2016. He served as a Director of Diligent Technologies Corporation, Cape Clear Software Inc., AutoQuake Limited and Telepo AB. He has been named to the Forbes Midas List of Top Venture Investors and VC investor of the year 2014 by Investor Allstars. He has been active in international start-ups, general management and venture capital investing for 26 years. He speaks advanced German and conversational Italian. He has been named to the Forbes Midas Europe list of 25 best Venture Capitalists. He holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School in 1987 through a full corporate scholarship from Fanuc Robotics and a B.S. in Engineering and Mathematics with highest distinction from Northwestern University in 1982.
