Mr. Prashanth Prakash is a Partner and Managing Partner-India at Accel. Mr. Prakash joined Accel in 2008 and focuses on early stage, healthcare, retail, and Internet. He focuses on consumer internet, SaaS and marketplace investments. Previously he co-founded Erasmic Venture Fund and was a Partner there. Prior to that, Mr. Prakash served as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Netkraft Pvt. Ltd. He served as the Chief Executive Officer of NuWare Systems India at Nuware Technology Corp. He founded the Netkraft and established it as one of the leading offshore solutions company focusing on retail and healthcare verticals. Previously, Mr. Prakash founded VisualReality. He started his career at S3 Technologies USA. Mr. Prakash serves on Boards of BookMyShow, Deeksha, Kaati Zone, PropTiger Realty Pvt Ltd, Cnergyis, HolidayIQ, QwikCilver Solutions Private Limited, Healthcare Magic and other early stage companies. He serves as Member of Advisory Board at Sportingmindz Technology Pvt. Ltd. He serves as a Director of Exclusively.In, Inc. and Jewels Online Distribution India Private Limited. He has been a Member of Board of Directors of Edunetwork Pvt. Ltd. He serves as a Director of East West Ethnic Foods Private Limited and Fin-e-ssential Infotech India Ltd. He has over 16 years of experience in Information Technology, Internet product development and consulting services. Mr. Prakash holds a MS in Computer Science from the University of Delaware in 1990 and a BE in Computer Science from the Bangalore Institute of Technology, India in 1982.
