time changes it all daily
The ability to understand our markets are constantly changing and we must adapt to secure wallshare.
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
needs attention to changes i have never dealt with in 35 years what happened to sinorty at acme brick i make by hour same as the man hired today because of 35 years of hard dedicated work !! i just don't get it please someone answer this for me
Listening to their team, and not just the sales team, but all teams. I have watched idea after idea get shut down and thrown away because it came from a yard associate, but the instant that same idea comes out of a sales persons mouth its praised and instantly implemented.
Technology, People management, Forecasting, planning
Keeping plants open and running; replacing outdated machinery. Spending money on operating expenses (machinery) instead of spending it on golf and management trips to Canada.
Get better at providing better compensation

Uncapped commission on top of a modest salary
Pay is in line with the the industry I have chosen to work in.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Were underpaid because were union
Profit sharing or quarterly bonuses or if we were paid the same pay scale as all other brick plants in the USA
Its an old school company, there are no career paths available
After 20 years of working here new management has no desire to hear my opinions; they view women and minorities as lesser qualified.
They are verbally abusive and do not care about their employees. No amount of money will fix that, but I am desperate for the job.
What are some of the best things about your team?
The maintenance department is a great place to work.
All aimed for the same purpose, quality of product, customer satisfaction, associate satisfaction
Great colleagues, they are positive and productive
Most of time time we work great together as a team.
What do your coworkers need to improve and how could you work together better?
communication understanding of ones who has done this job for 35 years
We need to be a family out here not enemies

Nothing. They are the only bright part of my day.
What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
We work as a team to achieve a productive day, knowing that problems are part of the day and it up to us to resolve and produce
The colleagues are extremely accommodating and caring

Management overhaul we need new management
quit closing down plants - save jobs!!

Plants are divided and people dont get along
Better skilled management/ office personnel!
Leadership is out of synch with todays changing world
Plants are closing down; lots of people are loosing their jobs. Corporate office is only looking out for managers and those who executive management like. There is nothing left to help improve the company.
