Mr. David Lawrence, also known as Dave, M.B.A., has been the Chief of Business Operations at Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. since October 2013 and its Principal Accounting Officer since October 4, 2016. Mr. Lawrence serves as Founding Member and Treasurer of The Brian Ahearn Children's Fund. He served as the Chief Financial Officer of Acorda Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2005 and served as its Principal Accounting Officer. He joined Acorda Therapeutics Inc. as Vice President, Finance in 1999. From 1991 to 1999, Mr. Lawrence held several positions for Tel-Air Communications, Inc. including Vice President and Controller. Prior to Tel-Air, he held financial management positions of Controller and Finance Manager for Southwestern Bell and Metromedia Telecommunications respectively. Mr. Lawrence serves as a Director of The Brian Ahearn Children's Fund. Mr. Lawrence received his undergraduate degree in Accounting from Roger Williams College in Rhode Island and an MBA in Finance from Iona College in New York.
