Good stock ownership program for employees.

They actually gave me a 401k plan, my other jobs talked about it but never let me enroll
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Other people in this sector make a lot more, and the best medical plan offered still has a $1,000 deductible. Also the vacation and sick hours are abysmal (1wk/yr, 30hrs/yr respectively)
What are some of the best things about your team?
We care about each other and feel the same way about the company
Some CUFs will stick largely to themselves, but the ones that are team players are a delight to work with.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
Lots of freedom and trust. As long as you do your job, nobody will bug you.
People do seem to genuinely care for each other's well-being, and safety is paramount.

What makes you most happy at work?
Getting a new route to work and finding my bearings in a new area. Walking a neighborhood and talking to the nice neighbors and avoiding the mean ones. Exploring remote areas and identifying threats that need to be mitigated, knowing that I played a role in making our area safer.
What's going wrong and how can it be improved?
Better compensation in-line with industry pay, better communication of roadmap for advancement within company.
