Mr. Marian Borovsky has been Group General Counsel of Actelion Pharmaceuticals U.S., Inc., since 2000 and has been its Secretary of the Board since 2003. Mr. Borovsky serves as Senior Vice-President of Actelion Pharmaceuticals U.S., Inc. He has been Corporate Secretary at Actelion Ltd since 2003 and has been its Group General Counsel since joining it in 2000. He has been a Senior Vice President of Actelion Ltd since June 7, 2011 and served as its Vice President from 2000 to June 2011. He serves as Member of the Management Board of Actelion Ltd. Mr. Borovsky is responsible for all legal, intellectual property and insurance issues. He served as Vice President of Actelion Pharmaceuticals U.S., Inc., since 2000. He started his professional career as an Attorney at law with an insurance company and subsequently served as a Legal and Tax Advisor of PricewaterhouseCoopers. In addition, Mr. Borovsky completed a Secondment to an international business law firm in London. He is a qualified Business Mediator. He is an Attorney at law admitted to the Bar in Switzerland. Mr. Borovsky holds a Doctor of law (Dr.iur.) from the University of Basel and is a qualified business mediator.
