What's the work from home policy like at Actelion?
As with many companies, it depends on your department and your management. Since Actelion is currently being integrated into Jansenn (the JNJ Pharma company), it's absorbing a lot of its policies as well. And Jansenn tends to be more liberal about that sort of things in order to maintain work/life balance. In the department that I'm currently in, the management allows each full-time employee 2 days per week from home. Everyone, including contractors, are provided with a laptop and remote capabilities though, and if an emergency were to occur, or there's inclement weather and the building is closed, you are expected to work remotely.
