
Ever since we went to "check in" feedback is irregular and unstructured. It is touted as great but is really only great if you are in the "in" crowd or are a lazy manager who is happy to not have to fill out structured performance reviews. 360 degree feedback has been all but abandoned unless the employee pushes for it. Vague negative feedback is used to slam "out" employees without need of providing specific examples.
