Mr. Jaime Urquijo Caravajal serves as a Special Partner at Advent International Corporation. He joined Advent International in 2002 and previously served as its Managing Director, Member of Board of Directors and Chairman of Spanish Office. He specializes in buyouts in the business services, financial services and Industrial sectors. He worked with Advent through a joint venture from 1996 to 2002. He served as a Head of DKW & Dresdner Group and Portugal of Allianz Specialized Investments Limited. He served as the President of Parques Reunidos Servicios Centrales S.A. He served as the President and Director of Parques Reunidos, SA. He served as the Chairman and General Manager at Banco Urquijo, S.A. and Iberfomento S.A. Prior to the Advent, he served as the Chairman of Dresdner Kleinwort Capital Spain. Whilst at DrKC, he worked with Advent, through a joint venture, since 1996. He has led or co-led over 20 investments and sat on the Boards of over 25 companies. He is the Chairman of ABB Automation Products, S.A. He serves as the Non-Executive Chairman of Ericsson Telecomunicacoes SA and ABB Spain. He serves as a Vice Chairman of Grupo Ferrovial. He served as a Second Vice Chairman and Independent Member of The Board of Directors of Cintra Concesiones de Infraestructuras de Transportes SA since 1999. He serves as a Director of Maxam, Endeavor Spain, Hune (formerly Eurloc), Lafarge Asland, Solvay Ib??rica and Aviva Vida y Pensiones, Sociedad Anonima de Seguros y Reaseguros. He has been an Independent Director at Ferrovial-Agrom??n, S.A. since 1999. He serves as a Director at Consorcio Aeromexico S.A. de C.V. He has over 20 years' private equity and merger and acquisition experience. He received an M.A. Degree in Economics from Cambridge University. He has a Law Degree from Universidad de Madrid.
