Johanna Barr — Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Limited Partner Services at Advent International

Ms. Johanna Barr is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Limited Partner Services at Advent International Corporation. She joined the firm in 2007. Ms. Barr is a member of Advent's Limited Partner Services Group and is primarily focused on fundraising and investor relations activities in Europe and Asia. She previously served as a Director of Limited Partner Services at the firm. Previously, she served at Deutsche Bank, where Ms. Barr worked for four years in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Broking Departments. While at Deutsche Bank, she advised clients across a range of sectors on a number of transactions including international public and private mergers and acquisitions, flotation, and secondary equity offerings. Ms. Barr has earned a B.Sc., with First Class Honors, in Business Administration from the University of Bath, School of Management. As part of her degree, she also spent a semester at the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
