Ranjan Sen — Managing Partner at Advent International

Mr. Ranjan Sen is a Managing Partner at Advent International Corporation. Mr. Sen joined the firm in 2003 and was previously a General Manager. He acts as an advisor in the German-speaking region and focuses on buyouts in the healthcare, industrial, retail, consumer and leisure, technology, and media sectors. Earlier, he served at DB Capital Partners, where Mr. Sen focused on larger international buyouts with a particular emphasis on German companies. He previously worked for two years as a Director at UBS Capital, working on mid-market private equity transactions like Budget Rent a Car, Reum AG and Systor AG. Prior to UBS Capital, Mr. Sen spent seven years as a Vice President at the Structured Finance Group at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, primarily concentrating on acquisition financings for financial investors including Fresenius, Komax, Stinnes Reifendienst, Tropon and Woolworth. He has 15 years of private equity experience. He studied for two years at the European Business School and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from University of Richmond.
