Executive Bio
Mr. Robert E. Taylor, Jr., also known as Bob, is a Managing Partner at Advent International Corporation. He joined the firm in 1998. Mr. Taylor focuses on investments in the business services, financial services, retail, industrial, technology, telecommunication and media sectors. He has been involved with numerous buyout transactions and throughout his career has partnered with management teams to support their efforts to drive performance improvement. Over the last five years, he has led the development of Advent's Portfolio Support Group. Before joining Advent, Mr. Taylor spent ten years with private equity firms, Wingate Partners and Valley National Investors. Prior to that, he had marketing, new product development and plant operations responsibility in the steel and foundry industries. Mr. Taylor currently serves on the Boards of American Radiology Services Inc., BondDesk Group, National Bankruptcy Services and Synventive Molding Solutions LLC. Previously, he was a Director of Antenna Products Corp., Keystone Automotive Operations Inc., TCO Tire Co., Lexicor Medical Technology Inc., Long Term Care Group Inc., GFI Group Inc., National PetCare Centers Inc., and TopoMetrix Corp. He has 25 years of private equity experience. Mr. Taylor received an M.B.A. from Colgate W. Darden Graduate School of Business Administration and a B.S. in Metallurgical Engineering from Lafayette College.
