Steven M. Tadler — Managing Partner at Advent International

Mr. Steven M. Tadler, also known as Steve, has been a Managing Partner of Advent International Corporation since 1993. Mr. Tadler focuses on investments in technology, media and telecom, retail, consumer and leisure sectors. He joined the Advent International Corporation in 1985. He served as the Managing Director of the North American Buyouts Group in 1994. He has led or co-led 19 investments during his time at Advent. He was at Manufacturers Hanover Trust Co., where he provided financing for a number of leveraged buyouts, technology-oriented firms and special situations. He serves as a Member of Board of Trustees at Endicott College since October 2016. Mr. Tadler serves as a Director of ILVA A/S. He has been a Director of Advent International Corporation since 2003 and wTe Corporation since 1989. He has been a Director of Bojangles', Inc. and Restaurants since August 2011. He served as a Director of Dufry AG from May 2010 to April 30, 2013; Skillsoft from May 2010 to March 2014; HMV Group plc since February 19, 1998; TransUnion since April 30, 2012 until July 15, 2017 and Hudson Group. He was on the Boards of Cade Industries, Inc. and OK International, Inc. He has 30 years of private equity experience. Mr. Tadler holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and has a B.S., with distinction, from the University of Virginia.
