What do you like best about the leadership team?
They are pragmatic but it dependa on who is your lead
They are real people. They own a vision and stick to it despite what shareholders might think
Managers give a lot of trust and are always open for suggestions and ideas.
We have a very approachable and knowledgeable leadership team.
They are very open, they communicate well and frequently, they share the vision
What does the leadership team need to get better at?
Get better at living out the adyen formula and not just using it to their own advantage when needed e.g we talk straight without being rude is just an excuse for them to be rude
What is the best part about your compensation package?
Adyen+ which adds benefits like the ability to take family time as and when needed, as well as being an extra fixed € amount on top of my salar
Great healthcare, great work-life balance
stocks are really impressive for me
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
Raise salary to market rate - not only eng but also non-tech roles. Some actual equity and benefits beyond relying on 'the great culture' which is better than a corporate but honestly nothing special in the tech space
Pay is not even decent when compared to competitors and increment is pathethic
What are some of the best things about your team?
The people are fun to work with
There are some really smart people that I can learn from through really useful conversations about the work that we are doing.

What is most positive about the culture and environment at your company?
There is a focus on quality before rushed speed.
Some people are good to work with
Nothing much, culture of narcissism and micromanagement stemming from "inner circle" makes things progressively worse
the team always ready to take new challenges
What needs to change to make the company culture better?
Affirm employees and work on retaining talents instead of using students as cheap labour
What did you like most about the interview process?
At least for tech, it is fast. The steps are: a first interview to know better the candidate and share more about the company; a take home coding exercise; a technical interview about the test and some general tech questions; a leadership interview; and the final interview with 1 member of the board

Too many rounds of interviews

There are great complex problems to solve
