Executive Bio

Alex was named CEO in September 2023 after serving as Age of Learning’s Chief Product Officer. Throughout his 30+ year career in the tech sector, he has consistently demonstrated a remarkable ability to drive innovation and operational excellence.?

Prior to his tenure at Age of Learning, Alex held pivotal positions in the gaming and mobile industries. As head of Turbine, a pioneer in the MMO gaming space, he spearheaded the company’s successful expansion into the mobile gaming market. His career also includes leadership roles in mobile technology, including managing and selling a leading mobile video ad network, Transpera. His contributions further extended to Proxinet, where he had a critical role in developing one of the industry’s earliest full-featured mobile browsers. As one of Glu Mobile’s original employees, Alex was indispensable to the company’s rapid growth and successful IPO.

Alex began his career at NASA’s Ames Research Center, where he engaged in innovative robotics and artificial intelligence research. He holds an MS in Computer Engineering from Santa Clara University.
