Mr. John A. Vella has been Chief Revenue Officer of Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. since January 20, 2015. Mr. Vella served as Chief Operating Officer of Equator, LLC. He served as Managing Director and Senior Vice President of Mortgage Special Operations business at Residential Capital LLC since August 2008. He served as the President of EMC Mortgage Corporation since March 2006 and served as its Chief Executive Officer since February 2007. He served as an Executive Officer of GMAC ResCap, Inc. In addition, he served in management positions at Freddie Mac, and Fleet National Bank. He served as Chief Operating Officer of EMC Mortgage Corporation since March 2006. He spent over 27 years in the Mortgage Industry. He served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Aames Investment Corp. from July 11, 2005 to January 2006. Mr. Vella primary focused on achieving Aames Investment Corp.'s growth objectives in its core sub prime mortgage business and has management responsibility for Aames Investment Corp.'s sales organization, its loan servicing and credit operation platforms. Prior thereto, he served as Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Sales Officer of Option One Mortgage Corporation since 2002 where he managed, among other things, loan servicing and Information Technology Departments. Prior to joining Option One Mortgage, Mr. Vella served as the Chief Executive Officer of Household Auto Finance, a division of Household International (now HSBC Finance Corp) from 1999 to 2002.
