Executive Bio

Mr. Marcello Mastioni has been President of Real Estate Marketplace at Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. since August 17, 2017. Mr. Mastioni is responsible for driving growth by focusing on digital experience and strategy across Altisource's consumer and investor-focused marketplaces including Owners.com, an innovative real estate brokerage and Hubzu, a leading real estate auction platform. He also provides guidance to other strategic initiatives. He served as an Managing Director of Europe, Middle East & Africa Operations and Vice President at HomeAway, Inc. since September 2014. He led the HomeAway's operations throughout Europe, the Middle East and Africa and led the growth of HomeAway's online brands by delivering innovative vacation home rental solutions, streamlining and transforming a complex multi-country, multi-brand organization and expanding the platform into new markets. He guided HomeAway's European business, which operates some of the industry's oldest brands, such as Abritel.fr, FeWo-direkt.de and OwnersDirect.co.uk. He joined HomeAway as the Sr. Director of EMEA Operations in 2013 and worked collaboratively with many global and regional teams to elevate standards for the company's property management business, spearheaded initiatives to improve listing quality across multiple brands and championed the launch of pay-per-booking listing models for property managers. He has 15 years of experience. Prior to joining HomeAway, Mr. Mastioni served as the Director of Strategy & Business Development at Expedia, where he led several global initiatives to develop the its lodgings business and focused on supply optimization as a driver of sustained business growth among a highly competitive set of online travel booking marketplaces. Before his three-year tenure with Expedia, he served as the Head of retail and consumer good industries for the World Economic Forum and Head of operations for General Electric's Digital Energy UPS business.
