Michael Schreck — Senior Vice President at Altisource

Mr. Michael Schreck has been the Chief Executive Officer at cloudvirga, Inc since June 2017. Mr. Schreck serves as Senior Vice President of Altisource Portfolio Solutions S.A. Mr. Schreck serves as the President of Zmags ApS. He served as managing director of Altisource Labs. He was responsible for overseeing more than 1,000 employees across four next-generation software and analytics companies, including leading software-as-a-service providers Equator and Mortgage Builder. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Zmags, Corp. since May 2011 and its President. He served as the Chief Executive Officer at Zmags ApS from May 2011 to July 2012. He focuses on the global expansion of Zmags' Saas-based rich media merchandising and analytics. He helped build several companies from inception, including m-Qube and SmartBargains/RueLaLa. He has 20 years of experience in building and leading pioneering companies that have enabled the world s most progressive brands to deeply engage with their customers via innovative business process, software and technology. Mr. Schreck joined Zmags in May 2011. He was Co-Founder of General Catalyst Group II, L.P., General Catalyst Group III, L.P. and General Catalyst Group V, L.P. and served as their General Partner. He was Co-Founder at General Catalyst Partners and served as its General Partner. He was Co-Founder of General Catalyst Group IV, L.P and served as its General Partner. Prior to Zmags, he served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of National Corrective Group, Inc. (alGeneral Catalyst Partso known as CorrectiveSolutions) as well as Equity Pacific Group. He was Co-Founder of General Catalyst Group II, L.P and served as its General Partner. Prior to co-founding General Catalyst, Mr. Schreck was the founder and President of Retail Communications. Previously, he co-founded Retail Growth. He also worked as a management consultant at McKinsey & Co. and Monitor Company with emphasis in telecommunications, wireless services, consumer packaged goods, retail and consumer loyalty. He co-founded Upromise, Inc. and served as Acting President, which General Catalyst hatched in late 1999. He started his career as a strategy consultant at McKinsey & Company and Monitor Company. He also spent several years as the President at m-Qube, Inc. He serves on the board of Proteus Mobile. He served as a Director of Coremetrics, Inc. He serves on a number of private boards and the Presidential Advisory Council at Brigham Young University. Mr. Schreck earned a BA from Brigham Young University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
