Everyone needs to be making a few dollars more per hour to even come close to meeting the rising costs of everything. They give us dime raises twenty cents and this year was forty cents. The true incentive to work hard gets lost with the horrific pay.
Very great company who cares about their employees safety and satisfaction. They help you grow within the company as well.

What do people at Ambius think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
not sure, I dont think he really knows are field or what Ambius is, he in past control, which is what our parent company is
I would say that we don't know very much about him. It is such a large company. Not really sure about what he does well or what he could improve

I'm not sure I do know that they will pay for your move
What makes you the most proud about working at Ambius?
The work that I do even though sometimes it seems menial and tedious. I do a good job no matter what and it looks good because I know what I'm doing

I personally think they're very expensive and the deductibles are high

not great, I've never work for a company that did have great dental plans

mediocre, though I don't think it cost much out of each check

say the right thing, dont rock the boat. be honest but not too honest
What do you wish you knew before starting at Ambius?
that the increases in the pay rate are very small. Dont expect to be making much more after 5 years than you were when you started
How's the vacation policy at Ambius?
it's not bad I guess, after 15 years you get 4 weeks, then its maxed out. you dont ever get more than that
How long does it take to hear back after applying to Ambius?
depends if the the branch you are applying for is hiring. if it is in early fall, chances are they will be hiring for temp Christmas help.
How long after an interview at Ambius does it take to hear back?
it was a week or two but it is usually a long drawn out process because you have to be hired thru a temp service, and whether they've decided they want you or not, they have to interview 3 candidates, guess that is their policy.
How's the work life balance at Ambius?
They allow you to have a flexible schedule so you can balance you personal life and work. Making sure you can give the needed attention to those family issues that can arise.
