Ms. Susan Sender, RN, BSN, CHCE, has been Chief Clinical Operations Officer and Senior Vice President at Amedisys Inc. since August 29, 2016 and September 14, 2016 respectively. Ms. Sender is a dynamic clinical leader with 25 years experience in the home care industry. She served as Chief Clinical Officer and Senior Vice President of Kindred at Home Hospice until July 12, 2016. Ms. Sender Joined Kindred in July 2013. She served as the Chief Clinical Officer and Vice President of Pediatric Operations at Loving Care Agency Inc. Ms. Sender was responsible for the clinical direction of Loving Care which includes setting standards, strategic planning, compliance, regulatory affairs, training and development, acquisitions and integration. She served as the Chief Clinical Executive of Gentiva Health Services. She served as Corporate Director of Clinical Practice for Olsten Health Services. She has been invited to participate in many external committees for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, The Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, the National Quality Forum, Atlantic Philanthropies and the John A. Hartford Foundation, the Visiting Nurse Service of New York and National Trade Associations. Ms. Sender holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Adelphi University in Garden City, New York.
