Jeffery D. LaFleur — Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at American Electric Power Company

Mr. Jeffery D. LaFleur, also known as Jeff, has been Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at American Electric Power Company, Inc. since January 1, 2017. Mr. LaFleur served as Vice President of Generating Assets at Appalachian Power Company since July 2008. He was responsible for all generating assets in Appalachian and also for the operation of all American Electric Power hydro units. Mr. LaFleur joined Appalachian Power Company in 1982 as a Staff Engineer. Mr. LaFleur served at Southwestern Electric Power Company as Manager of Operations and was responsible for over all SWEPCO power plants. He served as the Director of operations of Central and South West Corp. Energy and International, where he was responsible for the operation of unregulated power plants across the U.S., Mexico and the UK. Mr. LaFleur served as Vice President of Generating Assets for AEP. He Graduated with a Mechanical Engineering degree from Louisiana Tech University and completed an Executive Management Program at Louisiana State University.
