Mr. Joseph M. Buonaiuto has been the Senior Vice President and Controller of American Electric Power Co., Inc., since 2001 and serves as its Chief Accounting Officer. Mr. Buonaiuto serves as the Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Public Service Company of Oklahoma; AEP Generating Company; Ohio Power Company; Indiana Michigan Power Company; and Southwestern Electric Power Company. He serves as Chief Accounting Officer, Senior Vice President, Controller of AEP Texas North Company, Appalachian Power Company and Kentucky Power Company. He served as Chief Accounting Officer and Controller of Columbus Southern Power Company. He was a partner with the London office of Deloitte & Touche. He is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brandeis University in Waltham, Mass., and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Graduate School of Business in Ann Arbor.
