Stanley E. Partlow Jr. — Chief Security Officer & VP at American Electric Power Company

Mr. Stanley E. Partlow, Jr., also known as Stan, has been the Chief Security Officer and Vice President of American Electric Power Co., Inc. since September 1, 2015. Mr. Partlow served Managing Director for Security & Aviation of American Electric Power Co., Inc. from 2010 to September 1, 2015. Mr. Partlow was responsible for physical security and American Electric Power aviation, he oversee its cyber security efforts. He joined American Electric Power in 2005 as Director - Security & Aviation after a distinguished 25-year career in law enforcement. He held several supervisory positions with the City of Columbus Division of Police and was a special agent for the Federal Bureau of Investigation. He serves on the boards of Franklin University and the Center for Family Safety and Healing. Mr. Partlow holds a Juris doctorate degree from Capital University Law School, a master of science degree in administration from Central Michigan University and a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Bowling Green State University. In addition, he is a graduate of the Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command and the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Policy Executive Leadership College.
