Stephan T. Haynes — Chief Risk Officer and Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at American Electric Power Company

Mr. Stephan T. Haynes, also known as Steve, has been Chief Risk Officer at American Electric Power Co., Inc. since January 2008 and as its Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives since August 3, 2015. Mr. Haynes served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at American Electric Power Co., Inc. from January 2008 to August 3, 2015. Mr. Haynes served as Vice President of Corporate Finance of American Electric Power Co. Inc. from May 2004 to January 2008. Mr. Haynes served as Vice President, Treasurer and Manager of AEP Texas Central Transition Funding II LLC. Mr. Haynes served as Assistant Treasurer of TCC and Vice President and Assistant Treasurer of the Service Corporation since May 2004. From January 2002 to April 2004, he served as Vice President of Market risk oversight of the Service Corporation. From July 1998 to December 2001, he served as Managing Director of risk oversight of the Service Corporation. Mr. Haynes joined AEP in 1984 as a programmer in the information systems department. He also has held the posts of Managing Director of risk oversight and Managing Director of corporate finance in addition to other positions in finance, investor relations and information systems. Mr. Haynes was named a Weidler Scholar for placing in the top 5 percent of the class. Mr. Haynes completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business and the AEP Management Development Program at Ohio State University. Mr. Haynes holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Systems Analysis from Harding University. .
