Mr. Giel Rutten served as an Executive Vice President of Advanced Products at Amkor Technology, Inc. since January 2014. Mr. Rutten served as the Chief Executive Officer of NexWave Solutions, S.A. He has over 30 years of experience in the technology industry. Mr. Rutten served as Senior Vice President and General Manager for Home business unit of NXP B.V. (formerly, Philips Semiconductors) until April 16, 2007. In this role, he was part of NXP's Executive Management team (EMT). He first joined Philips in 1984 and served as its Senior Vice President and General Manager for the TV Systems business unit. Prior to that, he served as General Manager for the Mainstream TV Systems business line and served various other roles at Philips in both the U.S. and Asia in the areas of general management, marketing, operations and engineering. He has been a Member of Supervisory Board at NANIUM, S.A. since June 14, 2017. Mr. Rutten holds a Master's degree in Physics and Chemistry from the University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands.
