Results can be used to view a player's progression over time, see where their strengths and weaknesses lie or as a tool for monitoring health and performance.
In Catapult AMS, the Data Capture section, located in the left-hand menu, can be used to collect information about players in five different areas - coaching, strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, medicine and administration. Customisedtests, spanning physical, performance or mental parameters, areconfigured and placed under one of these headings.
The subheadings form a way of grouping specific tests together, but data for each test is captured the same way regardless of which test players are completing. Under 'Options' in the table of tests, there are methods for capturing data. It can be captured individually, as a bulk capture or imported from an external file.
View ArticleQuick Notes allows medical staff to capture and track treatments and preventative tools for all athletes quickly through a simple checklist.
Catapult AMS identified that a key challenge for many staff (often external) associated with teams can be understanding what treatments have and have not been performed on athletes.
With the introduction of Quick Notes, routine and medical treatments can be logged in a few simple clicks instead of having to log a treatment or medical note. This saves teams valuable time and money and allows all staff to easily understand what treatments your athletes are undertaking.
Quick Notes are located by selecting 'Physiotherapy' or 'Sports Medicine' in the left-hand menu and then the subheading 'Quick Notes'.

How Catapult AMS Calculates Weekly Averages
When calculating averages from "this week", the system will take the value from the day you are currently in and the values up to and including the Monday just gone. For example if it's Friday the 24th, the system will take information from Monday the 20th (Monday just gone) to Friday the 24th (today) inclusive.
When calculating averages for the "previous week" the system will take values from the the Sunday just gone and the Monday previous. For example if it's Friday the 24th, the system will take information from Sunday the 19th (Sunday just gone) to Monday the 13th inclusive.
TeamWidgets
Team widgets provide a visual snapshot of your chosen elements, as they do in the Availability Dashboard. The widgets that are created in the Availability Dashboard are not visible in the Performance Monitoring Dashboard and vice versa. If the same widget is required, they need to be configured in both Dashboards. Refer to the 'Team Widgets' section of the Availability Dashboard guide for information on how to configure team widgets.

If you select all team (average) or group (average), the data will display only the average of the group or team.
If you select team (sum) or group (sum), the data will display the total for the group or team.
Select Date Range:
Much like Users and Groups, in this section, by default, the date range you selected when initially setting up the report will be chosen.
This is pre-populated for your convenience to save you time. However, it can be configured per chart.
Filter By:
The chart may be filtered by any of the fields you are able to report on. For example you may wish to view the average sessions missed along with the total sessions missed for the team.
You are then able to filter the data to show you the average games missed and total games missed when the type of injury was a fracture.
Likewise, you can filter the data to only display the data from one member so, using the example above, the average and total games missed will apply to that one member.
The following options are available when filtering data:
=
field is equal to X
!=
field is not equal to X
In
multiple values can be selected. For example user name In Player X, Player Y and Player Z
>
field is greater than X
<
field is less than X
>=
field is greater than or equal to X
<=
field is less than or equal to X
Group By:
Like in normal reporting, you are able to group your results by another field(s).
For example you may wish to view all causes of injury then group then by the side or part of the body they affected.
Order By:
The last part of the chart configuration allows you to order the data alphabetically by any field in injury, illness, treatment notes and general.
Please note that ordering grouped data will overwrite any grouping you may have.

View ArticleCatapult AMS redesigns reporting to centralise medical, training and performance reports
Catapult AMS has released more advanced and user-friendly reporting across the platform. This replaces the existing reporting module by building on the popular functionality introduced in the medical reporting release.
All reporting is now centralised, with medical, training and performance reports all conveniently located under one menu. Everything is still role and permission-based, meaning that if youdon'thave access to medical records, for example, youwon'tsee those reports.
New Calculation Options
This latest release introduces new calculation options that are available when creating a chart in reporting, including:
Count
Max
Min
Average
Sum
Moving Range
Moving Range refers to rolling averages and sums. In the past, you were limited to five and 28-day rolling sums and averages, but the number of days can now be fully customised and applied to average, sum, min or max calculations.
New Source Type Options
You can now expand upon the reporting options included in medical reporting, with source type options now including the following:
General
Seasons, Phases and Fixtures
Wellness
Medical (Injury, Illness, Treatment Notes)
Data Capture
Source Type Elements
This latest Catapult AMS release allows you to expand on the reporting options included in medical reporting. While new source type options are available, you can now look at all the elements included in each source type.
Source type elements include the following:
General (All general options previously included in medical reporting)
Seasons, Phases and Fixtures
Sessions
Fixtures
Fixture (Home/away)
Fixtures (Opponent)
Training Week
Training Week (Pre-season)
Training Week (Trials)

Creating a Pivot Table
You can now create a pivot table chart in Catapult AMS, allowing you to summarise data while reporting and exploring trends based on that information.
To access the new pivot table feature, simply click on the + symbol in the report and locate the Add a pivot table option. A pop-up box will then display, allowing you to enter all required information.

View ArticleNavigate to Administration - Configuration - Wellness
In step one you enabled all the wellness parameters you wish your members to complete.
Now that you have completed this step we can set up alerts based upon the wellness parameter you have enabled.
General Wellness High Risk Threshold:
This alert is based upon all the parameters you have enabled under the General Wellness Category.
The parameters in this category are:
Time Slept (hours)
Sleep Quality
Readiness to Train
Recovery Rating
General Soreness
Fatigue
Stress Levels
Mood
Motivation
Nutrition Quality
Appetite
Yesterdays Productivity
Apart from time slept which is in hours, all parameters are given a score out of 5 (10 possible data points moving in 0.5 increments).
The alert we are setting up will relate to a poor score based upon these parameters.
Therefore when setting up this alert we must look at the following:
Number of parameters enabled
An at risk score based upon the max score
For example, if we have 5 general wellness parameters enabled plus time slept, the max score a member could get for this General wellness score would be:
5 (no. of enabled parameters) x 5 (max parameter score) + time slept
= 25 + Time Slept
If we add an average nights sleep of 7.1 hours to the maximum score the highest possible general wellness results would be 32.1 (25 + 7.1).
Now that we know the maximum we need to determine what % of max would determine an 'at risk' alert. For example if you determine an 'at risk' score to be 50% and below you would input 16.05 into the box
General Wellness Performance Alert Threshold:
Setting up this alert follows the same principles as above except we want to set an alert for when a player is submitting exceptional results.
Therefore we would set up the alert to be close to the maximum score of 32.1
Muscle and Joint Soreness High Risk Threshold:
This alert is based upon all the parameters you have enabled under the Muscle Soreness and Tightness and Joint Stiffness and Soreness Wellness Categories.
The parameters in this category are:
Muscle Soreness and Tightness
Neck/Shoulder Tightness
Lower Back Tightness
Hamstring Tightness
Glute Tightness
Groin Tightness
Quad Tightness
Calf Tightness
Joint Stiffness and Soreness
Knee Stiffness
Ankle Stiffness
Like above, determine how many parameters you have enabled and then multiple this by 5 (max score for each parameter) to determine the max score for this wellness category.
Muscle and Joint Soreness Performance Alert Threshold:
Setting up this alert follows the same principles as above except we want to set an alert for when a player is submitting exceptional results.
Therefore we would set up the alert to be close to the maximum score.
High Risk Alert Text:
In this field you must input the text you wish to see whenever the high risk alerts you have configured above are triggered.
Performance Alert Text:
In this field you must input the text you wish to see whenever the performance alerts you have configured above are triggered.
Alert Recipients:
Click into these fields to determine which staff you wish to receive an e-mail whenever either a high risk alert or performance alert is triggered.
Click Save Changes to save all the edits you have completed.
Things to Remember:
If you ever disable or enable parameters please adjust your threshold accordingly to avoid missing alerts or receiving too many alerts.

Submission Frequency - Tick all the days you wish to send a reminder on
Reminder Time - Input the time (24 hour format) you wish to send the wellness reminder
Remind after every - If wellness is still not submitted after the reminder time notification you can select whether you want to remind member every 5 mins, 15 mins or hour.
