It depends on your direct supervisor. If your supervisor is "pro" work home, then it's very flexible. If your supervisor is all about being at the office, then work from home is not an option

Poorly. Multiple times managers have been reported for bullying, sexual harassment, and discrimination, but instead of addressing the issue, it is swept under the rug until too many people file reports, then the offending individual is moved to another department rather than held responsible for actions

Not very

I don't recommend working for AMSURG unless you want to be incessantly frustrated by antiquated technology and employees who work off of how they "feel" rather than research, strategy or logic

Only challenged because of incessant frustration with complete lack interest in advancements in technology, reporting, and general strategy.

Pretty easy. Work life balance is reasonable

I survive. I don't see a solid growth path for my position, nor do I see my colleagues and superiors enjoying growth. I'm job hunting.

Lots of surveys but nothing changes (hard to give honest feedback on surveys that are not truly anonymous). And if you tell HR about a problem leader or tenured employee, be prepared to job hunt. The "no retaliation" policy is a joke.

People who just want to come to work and be told exactly what to do. Out of the box and creative thinking is shunned. Don't ask questions. Take what your given regardless of how bad the work may be and use it to do your job. If you lack integrity and conviction for quality and delivering the best to the clients you serve, come work here. You will never get fired.

Know someone who works here to move your resume up the chain, but I don't recommend working here

Very secure from an individual perspective, but a recent merger and poor performance of the AMSURG division grows fears of divesture

Nothing really unique, but 4 weeks vacation is great and after 5 years, it's like 6 weeks

At HQ in Nashville, it's crowded. Mostly open cubicles. In the remote offices it varies by location.

How far behind in business advancements they are as well as the lack of qualifications of leadership In the organization (most leaders have tenure, but not educational or job experience to facilitate expertise).

Terrible. Very few people like working here. Bullying, gossip, manipulation and similar behaviors are rampant. Leadership fails to acknowledge or take action for change. Most leaders will say that "you just have to get used to the insanity."

They're communicative and friendly to all.

The corporate culture is friendly and fun.
