Great! Interesting problems to solve, innovations to make, and definitely lots of smart and helpful people to work with. I get to talk nerdy stuff all day in IT, so I couldn't be happier.
If you could make changes, how would you improve the culture at Amway Corporation?
Too many layers of management. Too many thinkers, not enough doers.
What do people at Amway Corporation think about the CEO? What do they do well and what can they improve?
Doug Devos and Steve VanAndel have been great in my opinion. Great leaders, great vision. Tough part for them is making sure that vision can penetrate all the layers of the organization.
How's the work life balance at Amway Corporation?
Depending on the department, it's either great or not-so-great. Customer-facing roles can involve more hours and less flexibility (Sales, customer service), but other departments on the infrastructure side are a bit better in that regard.
Does Amway Corporation have any remote positions?
There are positions that allow working remotely sometimes, but the majority are in-house.
How's the vacation policy at Amway Corporation?
Vacation is decent, no complaints. Two weeks is base for all (negotiation sometimes happens with hiring), and three weeks happens at 5 years in. Think max is around 5 weeks, and can carry over some each year. Plenty of time off for me, and depending on the department, there's a good amount of flexibility with scheduling.
My husband, who was an Amway employee, passed away on January 2nd. I'm trying to find out if I am eligible for his pension.
