Dr. Raymond S. Stata, also known as Ray, Ph.D., is a co-founder of Analog Devices, Inc. (ADI) in 1965. Dr. Stata serves as an Industry Advisor of Diamondhead Ventures. Dr. Stata serves as the Managing Partner of Stata Venture Partners, Inc. He served as President of Omniguide, Inc. from 1971 to 1991 and served as its Chief Executive Officer from 1973 to 1996. He founded the Center for Quality of Management in 1989. He was founder of Stata Venture Partners. He was founder of Solid State Instruments. He served as Vice President of Marketing at Kollmorgen Corporation's Inland Controls Division. He was co-founder of Novatium Solutions Private Limited. He was the founder and Chairman of Axiowave Networks, Inc. He serves as the Co-Chairman of The Massachusetts STEM Collaborative. He serves as Chairman of Axis Semiconductor, Inc. He serves as Chairman of the Board at Eta Devices, Inc. He has been the Chairman of Analog Devices, Inc. since 1973 and has been its Director since 1965. Dr. Stata is the Chairman of the Board of neoSaej Corp. He served as Chairman of Omniguide, Inc. since 1973. He served as Chairman of Deploy Solutions, Inc. and Yottaa, Inc. He served as Chairman of Stata Laboratories Inc. He serves as Vice Chairman of Semiconductor Industry Association. He serves as a Director of Samsung Semiconductor Israel R&D Center Ltd. and Midas Communication Technologies Private Limited. He served as a Director of Passav??? Inc. since October 2005 and Cilk Arts, Inc. since 2007. He served as a Director of Novatium Solutions Private Limited. He serves as a Member of Executive Advisory Board of innoPad, Inc. Dr. Stata serves as a Director of MHTC and Banyan Networks Ltd. He serves as a Director of Nabsys 2.0 LLC (alternative name NABsys, Inc.) and Omniguide, Inc. He served as a Director of Memjet, Ltd. until January 27, 2017. He served as a Director at Vortex Engineering Private Limited. He served as a Member of Advisory Board at Provigent Inc. since May 3, 2007. He served as a Director of Lilliputian Systems, Inc. since April 2, 2009. He served as a Director of TeleGea, Inc., Bandwiz, Inc. and AXSUN Technologies Inc. Dr. Stata serves as the Chairman of the Visiting Committee of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at MIT. In 1984, he was elected to MIT's Corporation. From 1987 to 1988, Dr. Stata served as President of the MIT's Alumni Association. He was the Co-Founder and first President of the Massachusetts High Technology Council, where he advocated that engineering education and university research funding were a shared responsibility of government and industry. Dr. Stata served on the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Board of Overseers. At the federal level, he served on the Executive Committee of the Council on Competitiveness from 1987 to 2005. His Awards includes: Elected to the American Academy of Arts and Sciences in 1990, Elected to the National Academy of Engineering in 1992, Named Foreign Fellow of Indian National Academy of Engineering in 1996, Recipient of the SIA Robert M. Noyce Award for Leadership in 2001 and Recipient of the IEEE Founders Medal in 2003. His Publications: Co-author, Global Stakes, Ballinger Press in 1982 and Co-author of The Innovators, Harper & Rowe in September 1984. His Honorary Degrees: Doctor of Engineering from Northeastern University in June 1981, Doctor of Business Administration from Curry College in May 1983, Doctor of Humane Letters from University of Lowell in June 1984 and Doctor of Engineering from University of Limerick in November 1994. Dr. Stata has a Ph.D. and holds an M.S.E.E. and a BSEE from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
