Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I don't feel undervalued, but there are complexities about the execution of my job that aren't accurately captured and fairly compensated for within my plan.
What do you like best about the leadership team?
This is the healthiest corporate environment I've worked in before. My peers are professional, respectful, and responsive to requests for help. My manager is open and honest. The leadership team truly cares about us as people first...they see the person before seeing the employee.
What are some of the best things about your team?
They care! And they care about more than the compensation. We're at the cutting edge of a capability and technology that will change cybersecurity and data privacy forever, given that we can get the visibility needed to effect change and the resources to accelerate momentum.
Why do you feel undervalued and what would make you feel better about your compensation?
I'm paid slightly below going market rate for my position. Given all of the added duties, responsibilities, and projects outside of my scoped role (which are necessary as we don't have the headcount elsewhere to do them, and they are required to succeed), I'm underpaid for what my role really is.
What makes you most happy at work?
I discernably move the ball forward every single day. From inside looking out, I can see my impact on my territory and how far we've come in just a year. Looking within the company, I see multiple areas where I've helped make positive impacts and helped the team my team and company.
