Mr. Christopher Pick, also known as Chris, has been the Chief Marketing Officer of Apptio, Inc. since September 2010. Mr. Pick has been President of TBM Council at Apptio, Inc. since May 9, 2016. Mr. Pick co-founded High Brace Software Corporation and serves as its Senior Vice President of Acquisitions. He leads a global team responsible for product and solutions marketing, field and channel marketing, branding, advertising, marketing communications, public relations and industry analyst relations. He is an accomplished sales and marketing executive with 17 years of experience in building global marketing organizations, creating new market categories and executing differentiated go-to-market strategies. Prior to Apptio, he was an operating partner in Austin Ventures' CEO-in-residence program where he focused on identifying new growth strategies and defining disruptive business models. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Vice President of Products and Marketing of NetIQ Corp., where he Led turn-around in Sales and Marketing after the Attachmate acquisition, Stabilized portfolio, optimized install-base and monetized new offerings and Created new corporate strategy and aligned business behind it. Mr. Pick provided strategic direction and ensures solid execution for all communications and marketing internationally for the Systems and Security Management products. Prior to Attachmate, Mr. Pick spent more than 10 years in marketing and product management positions at NetIQ. He served as an Assistant Vice President of Product Strategy at Baseline Software, Inc. He served as Vice President of Product Marketing at PentaSafe Security Technologies. He served as Vice President of Corporate Strategy at PentaSafe, where he established the market category and drove leadership position, Developed the corporate direction and product strategy and Positioned the $255MM acquisition of PentaSafe to NetIQ ($38MM revenue). Prior to PentaSafe, Mr. Pick served as the Chief Information Security Architect at Ernst & Young's e-Security Solutions Practice, where he was responsible for founding Ernst & Young's global solutions for enterprise security architecture. He served as a Senior Manager of Ernst & Young and Founded the Enterprise Security Architecture consulting practice and drove service offerings globally to a $400MM revenue position. He was an Auditor with Ernst and Young and is a recognized expert in the field of computer security and regulatory compliance. He developed many of Ernst & Young's innovative solutions for security architecture, including a best practice architecture model, policies and standards and technical security best practices. In 1998, Mr. Pick founded Ernst & Young's Security Architecture Co-development Solution that benchmarked over 35 fortune 1000 clients' security architecture implementations against Ernst & Young's Best Practice model.
