Mr. Paul McLachlan Co-Founded Apptio, Inc. and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. McLachlan served as Chief Architect at Apptio Inc. He joined Apptio Inc. after spending a decade building performance and troubleshooting tools for Java and .NET, first at Compuware/NuMega and more recently at Mercury Interactive and HP, where he served as the Chief Architect of the Diagnostics component of Business Availability Center and Load Runner. At Mercury, Mr. McLachlan led a team of 20 engineers through a multi-year (8 release) feature sprint and incremental re-architecture of Diagnostics, taking the product from nearly failing in the market into Gartner's magic quadrant, resulting in a 6x revenue improvement to over $40M/year. Mr. McLachlan holds a BS in Computer Science from the University of Technology, Sydney.
