Nicolas Papadopoulo — Chief Underwriting Officer for Property & Casualty Operations at Arch Capital Group Ltd.

Mr. Nicolas Papadopoulo has been Chief Underwriting Officer for Property & Casualty Operations at Arch Capital Group Ltd. since October 1, 2017. Mr. Papadopoulo served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of Arch Reinsurance Company (Alternate name: Arch Worldwide Reinsurance Group) until October 1, 2017. He has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Arch Re Bermuda and Arch Reinsurance Ltd. from November 2005 to July 2014. He served as Chief Underwriting Officer of Arch Re (Bermuda) from October 2004 to November 2005. Mr. Papadopoulo joined Arch Reinsurance Ltd., in December 2001 as a Senior Property Underwriter responsible for all of its property reinsurance underwriting. He served various positions at Sorema N.A. Reinsurance Group, a U.S. subsidiary of Groupama from 1990, including served as an Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriting Officer since 1997. Prior to 1990, he was an insurance examiner with the Ministry of Finance, Insurance Department, in France. Mr. Papadopoulo serves as a Director of Watford Holdings Ltd. He is also a member of the International Actuarial Association and a fellow at the French Actuarial Society. He graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in France and Ecole Nationale de la Statistique et de lAdministration Economique in France with a masters degree in Statistics.
