Daniel Martin — President of Gemma Power Systems at Argan

Mr. Daniel L. Martin, also known as Dan, served as President of Gemma Power Systems, LLC from February 8, 2010 to November 17, 2017. Mr. Martin has more than 28 years of experience with project management, engineering, design, sourcing and procurement, construction and start-up ofutility, industrial and independent power plants in the U.S. and internationally. He served as Head of Reading USA Operations at WorleyParsons Limited. He served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the operating division in Reading, Pennsylvania Inc., for WorleyParsons. In that capacity, he was responsible for the performance of the division, which conducts preliminary engineering, detailed design, procurement, construction management and other support services for electric generating facilities including those operating on fossil, nuclear and renewable fuels. In his previous role, he had the opportunity to work with Gemma on several combined cycle power plant projects. Mr. Martin served as Senior Vice President, Reading Operations of Parsons E&C Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University; a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois; an MBA from Boston University and is a graduate of the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
