In this capacity, he was responsible for accounting, treasury, financial reporting, sales audit and accounts payable. He joined Vitamin Shoppe, Inc. in 2011. Prior to joining Vitamin Shoppe, he served as the Vice President Controller, Retail for Polo Ralph Lauren where he was responsible for the management of the retail accounting departments. Before joining Polo, he served as the Controller at Hartz Mountain Corporation and the Finance Director at the Babies 'R' Us division of Toys 'R' Us. He began his career in public accounting. Mr. Lamadrid is a graduate of St. John's University in New York and is licensed as both a CPA and a CMA.
