Sue Ross — Executive Vice President and Corporate Affairs Communications Officer at Ascena Retail Group

Ms. Sue Ross serves as Executive Vice President and Corporate Affairs Communications Officer of Ascena Retail Group Inc. Ms. Ross has been Executive Vice President of Human Resources of Maurices Incorporated since 2002. In this position, Ms. Ross leads and evolves Maurices' culture to help it maintain its status as a preferred place to work. Ms. Ross joined Maurices team in 1990 and serves its 8,000 associates by leading all human resource functions, including talent acquisition, organizational development, talent and performance management, organizational effectiveness, compensation, benefits, and diversity/inclusion. Since Maurices joined Ascena family in 2007, she has been closely involved in leading cross-enterprise learning, communication and exchange of best practices. Prior to joining Maurices, she worked for the University of Minnesota, creating student recruitment strategies and holding various human resource positions. She is involved in many aspects of the community and serves on several boards. She received her Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.
